Release Notes: June 2025
Greetings, We’re excited to share the latest platform updates for June 2025! Here’s a quick overview of all the new features and improvements.
1. Sending Broadcast Using MM Lite – WhatsApp (Beta)
This release introduces support for Meta’s Marketing Messages Lite (MM Lite) API on WhatsApp. Designed for smarter targeting and delivery optimization, it improves the success rate of marketing message delivery using Meta’s internal intelligence signals.
Built for: Customers sending WhatsApp marketing broadcasts who want to maximize delivery, engagement, and conversion performance.
Impact:
- Improved delivery rates
- Enhanced click/read rate performance (coming soon)
- Exclusive support for Message TTL
How it works:
- Customers request onboarding for MM Lite.
- Engati coordinates with 360dialog to onboard the number.
- MM Lite entitlement is enabled.
- Once onboarded, the "Enable MM Lite" toggle appears during marketing broadcast creation.
Limitations:
- Works only for marketing templates.
- Not supported for Utility or OTP messages.
2. Dynamic WhatsApp Flows – Expanded Support
We’ve enhanced WhatsApp Flows with additional dynamic capabilities and broader BSP support.
What’s New:
- Support for dynamic flow fields using all attribute types: string, number, boolean, array, and object.
- Ability to use endpoint-based flows in Facebook Business Manager (FBM) for dynamic form rendering.
- Extended support to Karix and Sinch BSPs (in addition to 360dialog).
Built for: Businesses leveraging structured interactions in WhatsApp to collect user data and personalize flows.
Impact: More intelligent, flexible flows across all supported BSPs.
3. Script Node: Transfer the Conversation to GenAI (LLM_Query Support)
You can now use the Script Node to initiate a GenAI response directly, using the new llm_query type.
Built for: Customers using Esense GPT to power FAQ or doc-based automation.
What’s New:
- Introduces a new script method: llm_query
- Can be used to pass user queries directly to GenAI
- Fetches answers based on trained docs, uploaded files, or FAQs
Impact: Enables a more seamless handoff to AI inside flows, with no button click or API call required.
4. External Live Chat: Retain Historical Context
Problem Solved: External Live Chat sessions previously lacked context, making agents repeat questions and deliver poor support experiences.
Built for: Businesses using tools like LeadSquared (LSQ) with external live chat agents.
What’s New:
- Previous conversation history is now passed to the live agent view.
- Agents get better visibility and can provide contextual replies.
Impact: More efficient conversations, fewer repeated questions, better support.
5. Event Logs for External Live Chats
Overview: Event logs are now available for Live Chats triggered externally, improving visibility and audit tracking.
Built for: Support and compliance teams monitoring external agent responses.
What’s Logged:
- Chat start and resolution events
- Category, timestamp, and platform/channel data
Impact: Stronger auditability for external live chats.
6. Improved PDF Parsing: Enhanced Support for Images & Tables
We’ve enhanced how PDF documents are processed to ensure that images and table contents are better represented when training eSenseGPT.
Built for: Customers uploading PDFs with structured content — such as help guides, catalogs, reports, or manuals — to power GenAI conversations.
What’s New:
- Native support for reading images and tables from uploaded PDF documents.
- Automatically includes visual data like charts and formatted tables during training.
- No extra formatting or configuration required.
Impact:
- Enables better accuracy during training of your PDF content inside GenAI.
